The Pioneer RESA 2016-2017 Coaches Academy will continue to provide up-to-date Georgia Standards of Excellence (GSE, formerly CCGPS) information, strategies, assessments, and resources to strengthen instructional leadership skills for elementary and middle school academic coaches and instructional lead teachers. The series will also provide a time for collaboration and sharing among attendees. Other areas to be addressed will include: research-based and evidence-based best practices in CCGPS implementation in ELA/reading (K-8) and mathematics (K-8). A survey will be sent prior to each session to determine topics for discussion.
