A year of discovery of effective leadership and getting results for your teachers and students. Monthly at your RESA, Dr. Mark Wilson will lead you in an exploration, based real-time on what is happening at your school into building the kind of school you and your community want to have. The topics for each month listed below, all to answer the essential question for the 2018-2019 course, what kind of school do you want to lead?
August - Successful Schools begin With Effective Leaders.
September - Leading a Safe and Orderly School.
October - Leading an Interesting and Engaging School.
November - Leading a School of High Expectations.
December - Leading a School that Partners with Parents and Community.
January - Leading a Well-Operated School.
February - Leading a Warm and Inviting School.
March -Leading a School Focused on Success for All
Registration is open to ANY and ALL Assistant Principals. The material is fresh and those who have been in previous years of Dr. Wilson's academies will find this year's version to be a new experience. New or nearly-new leaders are strongly encouraged to join the cohort of leaders at their RESA in this practical, real-world, and just-in-time learning experience.
