What school leaders need to know about effective literacy teaching, coaching, and teacher leadership. You will learn how to build a culture of collaboration. We will guide you in building a common vision and belief system about teaching and learning. We will examine the role that the leadership team has in supporting teacher development. Through the experience you will gain insights to improve student outcomes in literacy K-8. This 4-day institute is designed for teams from the same school and should consist of the Principal, Instructional Coach, teachers from various grade levels, ELL teacher, Special Education teacher, and a Media Specialist or other literacy professional.
