This session will provide participants with classroom management strategies to be used with students who have behaviors which significantly impact their learning within the classroom. Participants will learn how to set and reinforce clear positive behavior expectations for their classroom. They will learn how to provide direct instruction in social skills and how to use a token economy to reinforce appropriate behaviors. Point sheets and behavioral referral forms will be introduced and participants will be allowed to practice completing the required forms and inputting data into the SWIS suite. Participants will be introduced to an overview of the opportunity process.
