Basics of IDEA and other relevant laws, characteristics and appropriate supports for each of the disability categories, appropriate roles and responsiblites of paraprofessioinals, basic principles of behaviorism, data collection, the differences between accommodations and modification , and components of an IEP
How to successfully differentiate and tier materials and assessments based on individual student needs, specialized instruction, behavioral supports, and implementation of IEPs, data collection, and compliance
Participants will have an opportunity to apply concepts during embedded work sessions and will be provided reducible materials and resources.
