Course Description More Details
Course-specific groups for high school math teachers (Foundations of Algebra, algebra I, coordinate algebra, geometry, analytic geometry, algebra II, advanced algebra, calculus, AP calculus, college readiness, technical college readiness, etc.) will continue to collaborate with others who teach the same courses to engage in exploring best-practices and strategies to be used with students in helping to build a strong mathematical foundation. Participants are encouraged to bring with them their successful ideas and specific ways they use them in their math lessons. All shared ideas will be correlated with the Georgia Standards of Excellence (GSE). This day will be dedicated for a time to discuss with others the concerns and questions, and to share ideas to help strengthen their program. Groups will once again be arranged by subjects taught
