Cohort 26A - ESOL Course 1/3 - The focus of this course is the role of culture in the teaching and learning of linguistically diverse students. In this course, prospective ESOL teachers will examine major concepts, principles, theories, and research on culturally responsive learning environments and strategies for English language learners. This 11-week, 50-contact hour course is one of three courses required for the Georgia add-on ESOL Endorsement. Participants in this course must commit to complete the three-course endorsement series within the time period identified by CaseNEX. Participants will receive 5 PLU credits upon the successful completion of this course.
