Course Description More Details
This 20-hour course is designed for law enforcement, educators, mental health providers, counselors, faith leaders, and other community members who touch the lives of youth. The course will provide information to trusted adults to help them in identifying behavioral health disorders and circumstances that can lead to crisis, and gain knowledge of tools and techniques to assist and support youth and their caregivers. Continuing education units available for CIT-Youth classes for LCSW, LMSW, LPC professionals. Also POST credit hours approved for law enforcement.
