Course Description More Details
Upper elementary 3rd – 5th-grade teachers, IEP teachers, and paraprofessionals will explore best practices & strategies to be used with their students in helping to build a strong foundation in FRACTIONS. Oftentimes, math standards are misinterpreted with student misconceptions unaddressed. During this workshop questions and misconceptions will be discussed, along with suggestions for teaching FRACTIONS. This will ensure the further implementation of the Georgia Standards of Excellence (GSE).
A time of sharing and collaboration will be provided as well. IEP and Intervention Teachers are invited to attend also.
