The Georgia Numeracy Project is a free numeracy development resource provided by the Georgia Department of Education that introduces teachers and teacher leaders to the trajectory by which learners acquire a solid foundation in numeracy. The resource is focused on developing students' understanding of numbers and their ability to use numbers to solve problems. The mathematics team of content specialists from the Georgia Department of Education in collaboration with the RESA Mathematics Mentor for the local regional agency will provide teachers with information about the Georgia Numeracy Project and how it can be used to customize interventions based on student needs.
