Middle school math teachers (6-9) will meet to collaborate with others who teach the same grade level.
Please join us once again for a day of professional learning with Amy Casper from Southwest Georgia RESA. She will provide strategies for instructional support (6th – 9th grades) using algebra *tiles. Amy will demonstrate how to use these manipulatives with students to set up and solve equations, combine like terms, find quadratic factors, complete the square, and more. *Each participant will receive a set of Algebra Tiles
The last half of the day will be a continuation of the collaboration among schools and systems. There will be a discussion about Milestone's preparation including resource links, etc.
