This session will guide participants in applying the updated Texts domain of the Georgia K-12 ELA Standards to their curriculum, assessments, and instructional schedules. Participants will explore how the new standards shape text selection, complexity, and analysis, with a focus on fostering deep comprehension and critical thinking. They will learn to design text-based lesson plans that integrate reading strategies and develop students' abilities to engage with a range of texts.
