FACE to FACE

Understanding what students are trying to communicate through the behaviors they are displaying is essential in order to teach replacement and/or deficit skills. During this comprehensive training, we will explore factors surrounding the three states of the human brain as well as strategies to develop trust and relationships with our students while striving to create a school family. All sessions will include key components of Conscious Discipline, an adult-first brain-based practice, that comprehensively transforms schools through self-regulation, school culture and wellness. This course aims to equip teachers with the skills and tools necessary to create an inclusive, supportive, and well-managed classroom environment where all students, including those with special needs, can thrive. Emphasis will be placed on fostering a positive classroom culture “School Family”, improving social and emotional skills, and employing proactive strategies to prevent disruptive behaviors before they occur.
Please register for all three sessions!
