FACE to FACE

This comprehensive training is designed for new special education teachers looking to build a solid foundation in Individualized Education Program (IEP) development and implementation. Through hands-on exercises and expert-led discussions, you'll learn best practices for creating meaningful IEPs, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams, and ensuring that your students receive the tailored support they need to succeed. Gain confidence in understanding legal requirements, utilizing multiple data sources (EX. unpacking the educational psychological report), writing a strong PLAAFP and measurable IEP goals that will allow for the implementation of Specially Designed Instruction, and using data to track progress (Data Based Individualization). By the end of this course, you'll be equipped with the tools and knowledge to navigate IEP processes effectively and advocate for your students' success.
Participants should register for all three sessions as they will build upon each other!
