Special Education Teachers of Grades 8th-12th (beginning sped. teachers or those who need a refresher on transition planning for SWD)
This Transition Career Fair for Special Educators is designed for beginning special education teachers (or veteran sped. teachers who need a refresher) that are looking to expand their knowledge and resources to support their students' transition from school to post-school life. The event will bring together a wide range of professionals and service providers who specialize in employment, independent living, vocational training, and community involvement for individuals with disabilities.
Through interactive whole group and break-out sessions, this event will offer practical tools and a deeper understanding of how to effectively guide students with disabilities (both low and high incidence) through a meaningful and successful transition process.
Join us to explore resources, gain inspiration, and build partnerships that will have a lasting impact on the lives of your students!
