With Dr. Breanne Huston and the GaDOE ELA Team, Grades 6-12 participants will participate in two sessions (registration covers both sessions):
- Part 1: The ELA team outlines key components of the science of reading and adolescent literacy.
- Part 2: A deep dive into the Language domain, covering grade-level expectations and embedded learning progressions, for a better understanding of the ELA Standards’ purpose and intent of its organizational structure and conceptual shifts.
