Course Description More Details
In this session, participants will apply the revised Practices domain of the Georgia K-12 ELA Standards to their instructional planning and classroom routines. Focus will be on the new practices around speaking, listening, writing, and collaboration, and how these enhance student proficiency across literacy tasks. Educators will explore ways to embed these practices into their ELA block, design lessons that promote active engagement, and use GaDOE tools like Inspire to enrich their instructional approach. The session will also include curriculum mapping activities to ensure the practices are consistently incorporated and aligned with grade-level expectations
