How do social studies and science connect to literacy and the Science of Reading? This full-day session will link the importance of integrating social studies and science instruction in supporting students’ language comprehension. The day will include a variety of engaging activities that connect the content areas to literacy. Participants will leave with strategies and free lessons to use in their classroom. Join Judie Beccaro and Jennifer Zoumberis from the Georgia Department of Education for this interactive elementary-focused workshop. This session is intended for K-5.
